Mobile Engineer – React Native & Agentic Architecture (d/f/m)

As we transition into the next era of mobile development, we are looking for a Mobile Engineer who wants to move beyond feature tickets and take ownership of a high-scale engine.
In this role, you don’t just ship code; you architect a platform. You will join an agile team where the "Architectural Pause" is valued - evaluating trade-offs to ensure our multi-tenant system remains performant and maintainable at scale.
Your Tasks
Platform Evolution: Develop and maintain highly decoupled, brand-agnostic components that form the core of our 1,000+ apps.
Embracing the New Architecture: Lead the integration of modern React Native patterns (JSI, Fabric, TurboModules) to eliminate bridge bottlenecks.
Agentic Engineering: Leverage cutting-edge AI tools like Claude Code to accelerate development cycles and implement agentic workflows for automated problem-solving.
AI-Native Features: Build and integrate AI-driven functionalities directly into our White Label App Builder.
Automation & DX: Maintain and optimize our automated app-building pipeline, ensuring seamless delivery for hundreds of heterogeneous brands.
Your Qualifications
Proven React Native Expertise: Deep knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript and the React Native ecosystem (minimum of 4 years professional experience).
Architecture Mindset: Experience with state management (e.g., Redux) and a focus on modular, scalable codebases.
AI-First Approach: Enthusiasm for AI-assisted development and the ability to integrate Agentic Engineering principles into your daily workflow.
Native Fluency (Plus): Ability to dive into Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, or Java to solve complex native challenges.
Quality & Automation: Experience with E2E testing frameworks (e.g., Maestro) and CI/CD pipelines.
Language: Professional English skills; German is a welcome plus.
Location: You are ready to join our team on-site in Leonding or Vienna (with flexible home-office options).

Depending on your qualification and background, you will receive a performance-oriented salary that suits your profile and abilities. For this position, we offer a gross annual salary from €50.000 to €70.000. Depending on qualifications and experience, there is the possibility of overpayment.
